Movie : HarrY PoTter And Th3 DissapoInting ScreeNIng !!

It isn't good news for Harry Potter fans after a test screening of the sixth film, revealed a disappointing reaction yesterday.

Word on the street is that the film just isn't up to scratch, concentrating too much on teen drama and romance taking the focus away from major plot lines. As one fan commented when speaking to The Sun:

"Anyone who has read the book will be severely disappointed."

Ouch! This is backed up by punters who attended a secret screening in the US back in September, with one saying it should have been called "Harry Potter and the Hormones" - as the Half-Blood Prince rarely features in the film at all. Other characters such as Rufus Scrimgeour, Fleur Delacour, and Bill and Charlie Weasley have been cut along with many of the memory sequences which were so important to the book. But the fortunate fans who attended were left seething during the final third part of the film which - as those who've read the book will know centres around the death of a character:

"The last third of this movie is so incredibly mishandled; the death feels more like an unfortunate accident than genuine tragedy."

The film, scheduled for release on 17th July, has already been pushed back six months from November 2008 sparking rumours that the film studio were holding out for more money in July, after it was thought Daniel Radcliffe's naked Broadway performance in Equus could hurt box office performance.

Will you be disappointed if the film is dramatically different to the book? Will you still be rushing to the cinema when the film is released? Were you angry when the film was pushed back to July?
